Introducing our New Beta Website Interface
We are excited to announce that during the month of September our New Beta Website Interface was launched. This gave MyTrees.com a much needed facelift. We have worked to make this new interface more user-friendly.
Upgraded NotifyMe
During the month of August we released our upgraded Notify Me service which does a more targeted search of new data coming into the site. The program will now send you only one email
for results found for your Registered Searches.
Be aware that only new GEDCOM uploads are searched; data added by hand or appended to existing pedigrees won't be searched.
With this in mind, be sure to periodically search the site manually in case someone has added your elusive ancestor.
New Names Added to Archive
Among all the changes happening on our site, our archives have continued to grow in size. We now have over 535 million names available for you to search using our Ancestry Archive™ Search. Should you want to search only one collection, you can also search using Specialized Searches, located in the toolbar Search Menu.
New Technology - My Personal History
In July we added an exciting new feature to our MyTrees Online program that will allow you to easily write your family history. Titled the "My Personal History" section under My Account, you can write your personal history in less than an hour using our newest technology -- all you have to do is fill in the blanks!
