- 12 January - 12 February 2010, Kent, England: The Institute of Heraldric and
Genealogical Studies will hold a five week morning course for beginning genealogists.
The course is intended for those who are just starting to research their family
history. Each class will be held on Tuesday morning from 10:00 - 11:30 am. The five
classes will cover the following topics: (1st week - 12 January) Family History and
Family Records and Family History Charts and Pedigrees; (2nd week - 19 January) Birth,
Marriage and Death in General Registration; (3rd week - 26 January) 1841-1911 Census
Records; (4th week - 5 February) Parish Registers; (5th week - 12 February) Wills and
