Research Interest: John WALTERS first married at St Martins in the Fields in 1850. He was a Baker and Chandler, in Cross Lane. He married a 2nd time 1859 at St Giles in the Fields to Martha Coleman, and was a BAKER and Lodging House Keeper in HOLBORN, London. At every Cen sus he said that he was born in BRISTOL or Gloucestershire. At his second wedding he said his father was also a John Walters, also a BAKER. I know much about him up to his death in 1887, but where was he born, about 1825
