Edward was born in Virginia around 1814, we think his father was named Joseph. We assume Joseph was born around the late 1770's or early 1780's, birthplace unknown. Edward was married in 1834 to a Eva Catherine Revell, daughter of Isaac Revell in Obion
County, Tennesse. They also were in Christian County, Kentucky, Fulton County, Kentucky, and Stoddard County, Tennessee.
