Research Interest: We have been unable to find where Silas and his wife Mary Wheeler died or are buried. Silas was a Minute man in the Rev. War in Concord where they were married. He started as a soldier and ended up as a Captain. He was b. in Brookfield, MA. He is rec ognized in the Mayflower book as husband of Mary Wheeler who is a direct des. and by the DAR. We have visited the cemetary in Gorham, NY, here his son Silas Walker Jr. and wife Pamelia and their son Silas Walker III are buried.
