I am looking for the family of Joel VANOVER and his wife Julia BEVERLY who lived in Pound VA. They had several children: Polly b 1896 to 1901(?) in Pound, Maude, Alta, Carl and Cuzzie. Carl was shot and killed during a robbery while on his way to open
the family store sometime in the mid-1930's near Clintwood. Someone in the family also had a boarding house because my grandmother Polly used to talk about doing cooking for the boarders.
