Research Interest: I am looking for information about my Great Grandfather. His name was John Taylor. Little is known about him as in where he was originally from either Tennessee or Kentucky . Not known when he was born or when he died. His wife was named Mary Dire othe r spellings of her last name could be Dyre, or Dare . They had a lot of children one being my Grandfather Barney Taylor who married my grandmother Dorothy Tootsie McKinney Taylor. He had at least two brothers that we know of named Wiley and Riley. Barn ey and Dorothy Tootsie lived in Scott County, Tennessee and had 10 children or so. There names were starting with my Dad Samuel, Timothy, Daniel, Mark, Billy, Sue, Marlynn Ann, Donna Kaye, etc. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate i t. Regards, Theresa
