Research Interest: I am seaking any information on my GrandMothers parents. John Tarver and Annie Bass. She was left an orphen at 8 months and all history of her Mother was lost. She was raised by the Tarver family. She was said to have been born in Ms. and her Mother was an Indian, Chotaw. We only have family stories nothing previous to 1900 when she listed in the household of James W. Tarver in the Lafayette Parish Census at the age of 13 anm a niece.
