I am trying to locate James Cornelius Talbot, born in Louisiana around 1820 or soon after that year. His father was supposedly Benjamin Talbot. He had one brother that we know of Edmond Middleton Talbot. He married twice that we know for sure. His fi
rst wife, Tennessee Jones bore 10 children before her death around 1881. He and is second wife, Amanda Jane Barnes, along his children from his first wife, moved to Dawson, Navarro County, Texas in the late 1880's. Amanda Jane Barnes Talbot died in 190
2 in Dawson, Texas. We have been unable to locate any further information. Thank you for any help you can provide.
