Trying to find out anything about the family history of John
Sasse. He was born in Missouri (Springfield, I think) in
the 1890's and eventually settled in Kelso, Wa. My mother
found his birth certificate. She was told that the county of
his birth was known for its population of ancestors of
Hessian soldiers brought to this country to fight in the
Revolutionary War.
