Research Interest: The JOHN RAY FAMILY may have the son who married my JEANEY BOBO b. ca. 1768 in Union Co. S.C. The RAY FAMILY BOBO FAMILY lived near each other. Jeaney's sister Nancy married Joseph Ray her sister JEANEY BOBO supposedly married his brother. JEANEY is lilsted in her father Lewis Bobo's will as Jeaney Ray. I need documentation that JEANEY MR. RAY'S daughter was ANN E. BOBO RAY. It was said the 2 BOBO girls moved with their husbands--the RAY brothers to Columbia Co. Go--town of Raysville name d after them. ANN was born 11 Feb 1802 in GA--we think Columbia Co. GA. The JOHN RAY FAMILY had 5 boys--John, James, Zachary or Zachariah, Ambrose, Joseph Ray. We have ruled out Ambrose because he never moved to GA. and Joseph is Nancy's husband so that leaves John, James or Zachary. Zachary or Zachariah leaves a will naming Sarah as his wife but it could be possible that Jeaney has died and he remarries there is a James Ray that owns a mill but don't know if he is the one. I need help sorting t his out. Hope someone can help.
