Research Interest: I am looking for some connection to my grandfather James Edward Ray b.3/27,1871 d.8/14,1908 in Doddridre county WV. He is buried in Smithburg, WV. He m. Rosella Elmire Vincent b.12/20,1874 d.9/30,1947 at Salem,Wv and is buried there. They had six childr en, two which they lost at birth. Jacob JAKE Ray was his father,whom I also have been trying to locate. He was a blacksmith by trade and believed to have lived possibly Preston county WV,MD. or PA. He was b.dDec.15,1847-1851 d.Feb 13,1931in Washingt on county PA. He is buried at Gladeville,WV,Preston county. He m. Mary Jane Hines b.Nov 7,1852 d.Aug,19,1907. Her mother was a RICHARDS and she is buried at Pittsburg,PA, Grant county. They had eleven children, hopefully some of them will find this a nd reply. Hirem,George, Lula, Frances, Cora, Minnie, James, Sarah, Crease, John, Henry. Jacob also had a brother named John that went west but no one seems to know just where
