Research Interest: Dan and Elizabeth (nee Terry) lived in Hull, England, in the 1850's and 1860's. Elizabeth was from Ireland. All we know about Dan is that he was a merchant seaman, who drowned in the 1860's. They had five children: George, James, Dan, Sarah Violette, and Rebekah. Elizabeth emigrated to U.S. with the children after Dan's death. Elizabeth remarried to a man named Proctor/Procter. He supposedly was an English policeman who followed her to US. Eliz. may have had more children. We are trying to find (1) who sponsored Elizabeth and the kids, (2) where and when did she enter US, (3) where did she live, (4) when did she marry Mr Proctor, and what is his genealogy, especially if they had children, (5) Eliz. date and place of death. We are also hoping t o somehow determine Elizabeth's and Dan's family trees.
