, died shortly afterwards, leaving her boys to be raised with members of her family. Her sister Flora Jane Chamblee married to Elbert Chamber took my grandfather Thomas Verna to raise. His three bothers were Oscar, Joseph, and William Augusta. William
Augusta is buried with my grandfather in Leake Co., MS.
