Research Interest: Ralph Smith is my Paternal grandfather. He married a Margaret Morrision from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. They had a child Baby Smith/paul Ralph Smith/Ralph Paul Smith on March 30, 1916 at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. According to records at Saugus Town Hall, Ralph and Margaret were living on 22 Taylor St., Saugus, MA., at the time of his birth.I know nothing else about them. However, in the 1920 census, Paul is living with Fred and Lizzie Corson in Saugus, is listed as a boarder , and Ralp h and Margaret seem to have disappeared from the records. Paul, in the 1930 census, is listed as Paul Corson, foster child. He kept that name for the remainder of his life. My maiden name was Marilyn Corson. I am trying to find out what happened to my bi ological grandparents, Ralph and Margaret, and also to trace their ancestry. I don't know when they were born or died. So far, I have had no further success. Thanks.
