William Ragsdale married in Blount, Alabama on 11/3/1874, to Margaret Melvin Looking for proof of indian ancestry on both grandparents. They moved to Oklahoma and raised children James, Mittie, Maude, Norvel Margaret died January 1894 and William
Ragsdale raised the teenagers on his own. Mittie was the youngest and she stayed with a Mr. Mrs. Reverand Tom Pickens until the age of 18.
