Research Interest: William Price Payne is my Great, Great, Grandfarther and I can not find where he came from to Lauderdale County Mississippi. He Married Mary Elizabeth Walker and had childern one of which is Joel Parrish Payne Born in 1848 in Lauderdale County Mississipp i. Joel married Sarah Stewart who's Mother and Farther Came over from Scotland in the Mid 1800's. I assume William Price was about 30 yrs old when Joel Parrish Payne was born.
