Research Interest: im researching my family tree the paxtons and samuel a.paxton. he was born in rockbridge va in 1819. he was a confederate in the rockbridge light artillery in the civil war. he died on oct 15,1863 at point lookout md prison from a gunshot wound in the fa ce . he was captured at battle of gettysburg in july 1863 and was also sent to fort delaware. im looking for photos of him letters or diaries he may have kept or more info on his prison experiences.
