Research Interests Forum Entry for WILLIAM RODRICK ELIZABETH RICHARD PATTERSON at MD, PA, AND IN

Research Interest: I am searching for ascendants and descendants of the above peope. I have a feeling I could find most of my info in your librarby, unfortunately, my genealogical research is limited only to what I can get free since we are living on a very limited income. This is something that I've wanted to work on for years but have n't had the chance until now and that is only because I am currently unable to work due since I rolled my truck over last February and I am receuperating from that accident. William was an immigrant from IRL when he was about 14 years old. He began a successful mercantile business in PA when he arrived here then liquidated his assets to purchase to gun runner ships to aid American during the Revolution. William was married and had 14 children, one of which was Rodrick's aunt or great aunt, Elizabeth who was married to Jerome Bonaparte. This is all the information I have on this family. I cannot locate the name of William's wife nor that of his other chilren. William was a very prominent citizen and businessman in MD and he purchased Cold Stream in 1805. Any further infor that I can locate on this family would be greatly appreciated. I am also trying to locate family information on Barth W DOPHI (DAUPINE, DOLPIE) and his family. Barth served in the Civil War in a Surgical Unit at first then in the Infantry both companies for Indiana. I only know of one daughter, Mary. I cannot loc ate any further info on him either.
