Research Interest: I am researching Patterson, William Harvey b. 1810 in New Kent County, VA. He married Rebecca Patterson. His father was William Sr., there is a connection to the Patterson's of York County, Va in the 1600's, who then moved to Charles City and New Kent Co unt, and owned a plantation called Roxbury. The Patteson's, Pattison's, Patterson's were well known in New Kent County and were affiliated with St Peter's Parish Church in New Kent County. I am looking for proof of birth for my gggg-grandfather, William Harvey Patterson, and I have not bee able to locate any information on his father William Sr.
