Interested in finding the mother of Charles Schnaar/Schnarr/etc... (b. 21 Mar 1884 - d. 6 OCT 1967) who lived in Keokuk, IA. According to the Quincy, Illinois Orphanage records his mother was Mary Sophia Patterson. Charles was born on the poor farm. I
t is said he had other brothers and sisters. The orphanage had a note that the mother later remarried.
