Research Interest: I am looking for my great grandfather. The 1880 census of Coryell County Texas shows him to have been born in Arkansas. However, my mother says she always thought he was from Illinois, that by 1890 his parents were dead and she never heard their names. He had one sister who lived in Illinois. My mother believes she was an only sister, married but name not known, The sister came to Texas around 1915-1920 for one visit. She never heard anything else and her grandfather never visited Illinois. Anybo dy know anything about this Patterson family
