Research Interest: Interested in hearing from anyone with links or connections to this Paton family. John Paton occupation carpenter married Jane Gibson. No other known details except a son Henry Paton born 1850 parish Dollar Clackmannanshire county Scotland. In 1874 Henry moved to Glasgow and then emigrated to New Zealand. In 1880 Henry married Mary Mckinlay and had family of 6 3 sons and 3 daughters . His eldest son Henry Harry Paton was a NZ All Black rugby player 1907 1910 and Harry's daughter Eris P aton was a NZ Women's Cricket player.
