Research Interest: I am researching two separate PARSONS lines that converge on Bristol. 1. Henry Charles PARSONS 1822 - 1902 who was a boot manufacturer. His Son Ernest PARSONS 1860-1938 was an Oil and colour merchant and established a Paint Works that survives t oday. Any information about this family appreciated. Henry Charles was born at Frome, Somerset and his son Ernest at Shaftesbury, Dorset. 2. William PARSONS married Clara nee DURBIN at Bristol 12.04.1854. William's father was William PARSONS a fa rmer. Clara's father was Joseph DURBIN a farmer. William is described as a Yeoman on his marriage to Clara. They moved to Kenn, nr. Clevedon, Somerset and had a family their daughter Amelia married Joseph John BRAY at Kenn. Any information about this family appreciated.
