Research Interest: I am interested in determining the ancestral origins of my g-g-grandmother Margaret Parnell, of County Wicklow, Ireland. Born c1834 Father's name John Parnell Mother's name unknown. emigrated to Sydney Australia, arriving in January 1856 on passenger sh ip Cressy', sailing from Plymouth, England. Married William Byrne in St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, in 1860. Had two children, William and Julie. I am also interested in William Byrne who was born in c1834, emigrated to Sydney, Australia, from Wicklow , Ireland, in 1859 on the Palmyra', sailing from Plymouth, England. Willam was a Coachman' and Cabinet Maker'.
