Research Interest: Samuel PARKES and Mary CAMELY/CAMLEY/CAMBLY came to Canada from Ireland in 1864 when he was c. 18 years of age, when she being c. 16 years of age was pregnant with their first child, George. George was born in 1864 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as were all the rest of their children in later years William James June 29, 1868 , Annie 1870 , Samuel Jr. 1871 , Mary 1874 , John Charles 1877 , and Margaret Jan., 1881 . There seems to be no marriage records for Mary and Samuel PARKES. Samuel PARKES' name appears in the Toronto City directories for some of the years following 1864, but not all-inclusive. Also, he does not show up in the 1871 Census nor the 1881 Census, and so far, not in the 1891 Census either. I need to know mo re specifically where he was in all those unlisted years, as well as when and where he died and where to find those missing records.
