Research Interest: The years listed above are the birth and death years of my father. I am interested in previous generation, my father's father. He died in 1922, and was 15 years older than my grandmother, who was born in 1871. There are vague verbal accounts of his co ming to Texas with his family, in a covered wagon, from Coffey Coffee county Alabama. There are even more vague stories that his father my great grandfather was not a Parker, but either Stover or Stovall, but that he was a survivor of an Indian attack , was adopted by the Parkers, and took their name. I know that this is extremely sparse information, but I would greatly appreciate any information that may be available. John Parker
