Research Interest: He was born around 1800 in Pennsylvania. He married Polly Henry in Martin County Indiana in 1822. Their son Joseph Henry was born July 4, 1830 in Martin County Indiana. Apparently the family split up when Joseph was between 5 and 8. He travelled with the Scott family to Arkansas. But nothing is known about Jacob and Polly. Jacob died in Indiana in 1856.
