Research Interest: Alexander Hamilton Lapham seems to be my gggg-grandfather. I know the lineage back to his son Simon S Lapham of Marietta OH sometimes listed as from Cleveland OH, where he lived for some time . Simon seems to be the brother of Bethany Lapham Morris, n ear whom he is buried in Washington Co OH in the old Beckett Farm Cemetery. Much information about Alexander Hamilton Lapham comes through descendants from children through what I believe to be a second marriage in KY, after which he moved and remained in IN. I would like to be able to substantiate this lineage with more than just speculation and conjecture.
