George (Johann George Karl August) Lantow was born in
DEU in 1831. He left there on the ship Deutschland in
1851 and arrived in NY, USA in Jan of 1852 with his
wife the former Anna Christina Mettelman and their son
Ludweig (Lewis). Another son Johann (my ancestor, John)
was born in April. Sometime after that they setteled in
Tiffen Township, Defiance County, OH.
