Research Interest: Mary Traversy dit Langlois is my maternal great great grandmother she was the mother of Alexander Mackenzie 1843-1919. The father of the son was Alexander Mackenzie, 1814-1850. The Alex Jr. was orphaned in April 1850 and sent to Scotland. Alex Sr. was with the Hudson Bay Company and posted at Godbout at the time of his death.
