Research Interest: I am looking for any information about the parents siblings, etc of my great-grandfather John Land. He was born July 1872 in Louisiana. I don't know where or to whom. He is listed in the 1900 Texas Census as living in Camp County, Texas with wife Agnic e Agnes son Pervin 4 months old . John Land drowned in Caddo Lake in Louisiana. I don't know when this occurred or where he is buried. He may have had a brother named James an uncle named Jasper Land. If anyone knows anything at all about this fa mily please contact me.
