Research Interest: WILLIAM BROWN LAMB IS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER. HIS WIFE WAS CATHERINE YOUNG SMITH-LAMB. I FOUND WILLIAM AND HIS FAMILY LIVING IN STAUNTON, VA. WILLIAM WAS THE SECOND BORN OF 13 CHILDREN. WILLIAM AND CATHERINE LIVED WITH CATHERINE'S PARENTS, JOHN AND SOPHIA YOUNG SMITH. THE TWO OLDEST CHILDREN OF WILLIAM AND CATHERINE'S WERE BORN IN STAUNTON,VA. BY 1860 THE SMITH AND LAMB FAMILIES WERE MOVED TO METAMORA, ILL. MY NAME IS SHERRY LAMB-BROETJE. I'M SO SURE THERE ARE RELATIVES OF THE SMITH/LAMB FAMILY LIVING IN OR NEAR STAUNTON, BUT I'VE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THEM. I DO NOT HAVE WILLIAMS BRO OR SISTERS NAMES. THE ONLY SIBS. OF CATHERINE'S THAT I'M SO SURE AVOUT IS HER BROTHER GEORGE SMITH, WHO WAS THE SAME AGE AS WILLIAM. SOME OF THE LAMB FAMILY MEMBERS THI NK WILLIAM'S FATAHER'S NAME WAS THOMAS LAMB, BUT WE ARE NOT SURE ABOUT THAT. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON MY FAMILY PLEASE CONTACT ME. REGARDS, SHERRY LAMB-BROETJE
