Research Interest: I have been searching for information in regards to my husbands' Gr-Grandma,Mary Emma Lake, who married Edward Skinner. She was born in Montreal, Canada in Jan.1874. I found their marriage dates, where they were married. What it states is that Parth La ke Evelyne Stephenson were her witnesses. They were married in Port Huron, Mi. I haven't been able to find info on either of these two witnesses. I have not been able to, also, locate exactly when where Grandma Emma, as she was called, passed away. I need help in finding verifiable info about her. There is only one Emma Skinner that appears on any indexes, but I recently found out that wasn't her, supposedly. Thank you for having this message area to inquire about our ancestors. I have read, copi ed the census where she appears, but still cannot connect to her family. Help Sincerely, Leslie Omans San Diego,Ca. 619 696-8182 E-Mail me directly at owlloverbabe@yahoo.com
