Research Interest: William Lafluer is my Great Great Grandfather. I think he was in the Civil War. He had two boys Alexander who was raised by the Barlow family in Malone and a brother that was possibly named Albertus who was raised by someone in his family. I think t he boys received pensions after the war was over. Father died in war William was probably living in Canada in his younger days, before he came down into USA to live. I think he married a native american girl up there. I don't know her name. I woul d like to know her name. I think she died in Franklin County NY, giving birth to Albertus Where was she buried Was her body brought back to her people buried somewhere in Franklin County So I am looking for the Lafluer branch that took in Albertu s for anything they know and any of the clan of William Lafluer that can help me. I would like to know the parents of William, also - in Canada
