Research Interest: Trying to trace this line back to a Pierre LeBon from Rochefort, France, a sailor with the French Navy aboard Le Fendent . The fleet was to patrol the colonial shoreline during the Revolutionary War 1778-1781 . Van 1832-1899 married a cousin, Delil ah Burriss Byrum. He was the s/o Joseph A. 1808-1871 and Elizabeth Tripp Laboon. Joseph was a s/o Peter III and Rachel Jarvis Laboon, who was a s/o another Peter II . The records I have are very confusing for this time period, but there may be a nother generation between Peter II and Pierre LeBon Peter I . I would very much like to see a document called The Laboon Family in America written by Leonardo Andres Andreas around 1945. If anyone knows where I could obtain a copy, I would appre ciate it greatly. Thank you.
