Research Interest: My father spoke of a cousin, Henry Kabit, whose family originally from Lithuania produced a tonic or elixir by the name of Kabitsky's--this was in the west end of Boston around 1910-1940. My father told a story about Henry Kabit being invited to the ho me of the president of Harvard. My father also talked about the slogan for the elixir which was something like Welcome to Boston Home of the bean and cod Where the Lodges don't speak to the Cabots Because the Cabits only speak yiddish, by god Ha s anyone heard of this person/story
