Research Interest: George Janson born in Germany and came to USA married Marie McNamara and died sometime after 1873. I am trying to find out when he immigrated, where he immigrated from. He is not listed in all Philadelphia Censuses. I have been told he married a second t ime to a Swedish woman, who was once seen in a picture wielding an axe.
