Research Interest: I have located the Jackson branch of my family back to Elias. It is possible he moved to Connecticut or Vermont during the later 1700's, maybe 1780's. He married Nancy Alexander 14 Sep 1780, according to family records. Daughter Sarah Sally born on 28 Oct 1781, and son Alexander R. were born in East Chatham. Alexander died in 1864 at the home of his son, Asahel Hyde Jackson in 1864.I need more details on family and dates, both before and after the revolutionary war. Elias had 9 other children, Bet sy, Oliver, Milton,Polly Mary,Nancy, Archibald, Lorinda, Asher,and Elias, Jr, the latter born 24 Jan 1802.
