Trying to locate my great-grandfather's ancestors. His name was Owen Clyde Hays, Sr. He was a dentist and married Edith Mae Wilmerton in 1904 in Rock Island, Illinois. He had an older sister named Anna Hays Edgar. He and Edith had 3 children - Elisabet
h Mae Hays Hammett, Owen Clyde Hays, Jr, and Robert Hays. The family moved from Rock Island, Illinois to Port Gibson, Mississippi in the early 1920's where he practiced dentistry. His nickname was Doc . Believe his parents were William Carrel Hays
and Delilia Crawford Hays. Any information on my Hays ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
