Research Interest: John Harrison is a G-G-G Grandfather, he was in the Civil War and fought at Harper's Ferry. He was born in Connecticut. am looking for his parents. He lived in Summerhill, New York. I have found him in the Census of Cayuga 1860. He died of wounds he rece ived at Harper's Ferry. He died Sept 16, 1862 I am also looking for where he might be buried as well He mustered out of Auburn, New York in the 111th New York Volunteers H.A. Heavy Artillery. Am also looking for his wife's maiden name, she was born in N ew York her name was Maria b 1822.
