Research Interest: I have hit a brick wall with my great grandfather, Frederick Harris, my great grandmother's name was Jane, but I have no idea of her surname. I cannot find any dates of birth, marriage or death of Frederick, he was 43 years old in 1881, so must have be en born around 1838, I am unable to proceed further on this line by getting birth, marriage or death certificates for him. At the time of the 1881 census, he was living at 24 Mildmay Street, Islington, London with his wife Jane born about 1847 in Under river, Kent and five daughters and 2 sons, Esther 18 Frances 16 Mary Ann Polly 7 Ellen 6 William my grandfather 4 Charlotte Lottie 2 and George 7 months . If anyone has any information on any of the above please email me. Thank you
