Research Interest: Elizabeth Harris was, we have been told, the first white child born in what was to become Rhodesia. Her family moved to England, possibly Liverpool or Surrey area, where she met and married Cornelius Dinneen. They became my great-grandparents. Later in l ife, at least three sons later, the widowed Elizabeth moved to Canada and began spelling the family name Dineen. Has anyone any news on her?
