Research Interest: Julius Cratus was my grandfather. Alexander was his father, was married to Caroline Hubbard, she was born in New York. There is a relationship to Warren G. Harding, President who was also born in Galion, Ohio. Julius was born October 9, 1844. He was first married to Harriet Ketchum of Galion, Ohio. They had a daughter, believe her name to be Leona. She passed away and he then married Mary Jones. They had a daughter, Irva Florence, born October 29, 1904. Julius died November 17, 1910 in the Veter ans Home in San Jose, California. Julius also had a brother, Wallace, whom I believe was born in California sometime after October 1853. When Julius died his obituary showed a Daughter, Mrs. C. C. Williams of Vancouver, British Colombia, There were 4 grandchildren of this Williams marriage. There was also listed as survivor, a sister, a Mrs. C. B. Calvin of Empire, Nevada.
