Research Interest: Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me please as I am getting totally confused. 1. I have a JOHN HENFREY b 1840 married 1865 in Illinois. 2. JOHN HANFREY with a wife CATHERINE both aged 26 in the 1860 New York Census and said to be born BADEN GERMANY. 3 . a son JOHN b New York, 4. JOHN HANFREY b TENNESSEE wife MARY ANN 5 Children b MISSOURI and living in ARKANSAS in the 1880 Census. 5. JOHN HANFREY mentioned in THE TRENT TIMES NEW JERSEY ca 1870 and 6. JAMES HANFREY New York Passenger lists 1851-18 91. All the above could be 1 family traveling I presume by wagon train. I would be grateful if some kind person could point me in the right direction, or look it up for me, as I seem to have hit a brick wall on my ancestors across the water. Many Than ks, Margaret
