Research Interest: My father George Edward Hand was born on 4th October 1902 at 1 Brunswick Place, Hanley to George Edward Hand, a brewers cashier, and Mary Ellen Farmer. I believe his father, George Edward Hand Sr, died in 1940 and was buried in the family grave at Hartsh ill Cemetery.
