Research Interest: Searching for information on the family of Newton John HALL and Famy Fayme Fammie Ann GREEN. George W. Washington was one of their children our direct line ancestor. The last place I have a definite location of Newton and Famy is Sunset, Montague Co., Texas. The family holds that they are buried in the Duncan, Stephens Co., Oklahoma area. However, I have not been able to locate a burial site or a cemetery record in Duncan or Marlow, Oklahoma. Newton was born in 1847. Famy was born in 1858. B oth in Tennessee, possibly around Jackson. They were married around 1869, again, possibly in Jackson, Tennessee. Any leads would be welcome as they both seem to have dropped off the face of the earth
