I am searching for information about my great-great grandfather and his parents. Frederick was born in 1831 in Wurtenberg, Germany. I have heard that his family was from Alton, Illinois, but have no proof. He was married to name unknown and had two chi
ldren, Anna and Charles. Charles is my great-grandfather. She died when Charles was seven. He remarried a Wilhelmina and they had three children Frederick, Wilhelmina aka Mina, Molly and Marie and Bertha. Molly married a William Bloomer of Springfiel
d. To my knowledge, they had no children. Bertha married a William Niessen or Niesen and they had three daughters, names and other information unknown.
