Research Interests Forum Entry for JOHN GASKINS at VA, USA

Research Interest: I have looked for forty years for a connection for John Gaskins my grandfather, many generations removed, to the Virginia Gaskins or any others for example from PA or KY and keep coming up empty. Recently several relatives have suggested he came from a marriage between Ann Eustace and John Gaskins, perhaps a son of Thomas Gaskins or his nephew. But the rumor included that he was left an orphan. I believe this would have been the father of the John born in 1761. If you have any knowledge could you plea se tell me.
