Hello, I am researching my gt gt-grandfather. Anthony Garraway born Scotland 1771/3 on the 1851 Census they have him down as a British subject. Why that was written down like that we do not know. It looks like that on the 1851 English Census when he came
to England. We do not know. In 1820 he married a Sarah Hutchinson, maiden name was Thornton, they had 4 children - Charles James Garraway 1821 William Garraway 1822 he died 1824 William Garraway 1826 he was my great grandfather Thomas Garraway 1831
so there is a lot of family looking for this person which we cannot find. Please, do we belong to someone
